Vegetable Fried Rice has varieties across Asia; Thailand, China, India etc,. Each Country has its own flavour. Here i am going to tell you about the Indian Recipe.For the Fried rice we can use any vegetable depending upon our own taste. Fried Rice is made very simple if you follow few steps strictly. First thing is, a wok must be used instead of a pan; if you don’t have it, still it can be made but rice will be sticking to the pan frequently. Second thing, always put the stove on high heat otherwise we cannot make fried rice tasty as at a restaurant. Thirdly, we need to continuously mix all the ingredients without any gap. And finally Rice should be cooked dry than normal. If you follow these simple but important steps, you can make very tasty and delicious Fried Rice. So now let us look into the procedure.

Ingredients: For Serving 3 People.

  • Carrot 1/2 Cup Finely Grated Length Wise
  • Capsicum 1/2 Cup (Yellow, Red, Green) Finely Grated Length Wise
  • Cabbage 1/2 Cup Finely Grated Length Wise
  • Spring Onions 1/2 Cup
  • Onion 1/2 Cup Finely Grated Length Wise
  • Green Peas 1/4 Cup
  • Beans 1/4 Cup Finely Grated Length Wise
  • Garlic Finely Chopped
  • Cooked Rice(Use Sona Masoori Rice And Don’t Use Basmati Rice) 3 Cups
  • Ajinomoto 1/4 Tea Spoon
  • Soya Sauce 2 Table Spoons
  • Tomato Sauce 2 Table Spoons
  • Oil 1/2 Cup
  • Chili Sauce 2 Table Spoons
  • Pepper Powder According To Taste
  • Salt To Taste


  • First Wash All The Vegetables And Grate Them According To The Size Which Is Mentioned Above.
  • Cook The Rice In A Rice Cooker And Once It Is Made Take It Out In A Big Container So That Each Rice Grain Gets Separated.
  • We Need To Divide Rice And All Vegetables Into 3 Equal Parts As We Will Fry Them 3 Times Separately.
  • Now Take The Wok And Put It On High Flame And Add 2 Table Spoons Of Oil To It.
  • Once Oil Is Boiled Add Onions And Fry Them Then Add Garlic And Add Carrots, Capsicum, Cabbage, Beans, Green Peas One By One And Fry Them.
  • Once They Are Fried Properly Add Ajinomoto And Add Soya Sauce.
  • Add The 1 Part Of The Rice And Mix Everything Well, Make Sure That Rice Is Not Sticking To The Wok.
  • Now Mix Them Continuously With Out Taking Any Break In Between Otherwise Rice Will Get Sticked And It Wont Come Properly.
  • Add Chili Sauce And Tomato Sauce To It And Mix Well. Add Pepper Powder And Salt According To Taste.
  • Finally Add Spring Onions And Mix Them All Together Once And Take It In A Bowl.
  • Now Repeat The Same Process With Other Two Parts Of The Rice And Vegetables.
  • You Can Also Add Egg To This And For That You Need To Take 3 Or 4 Eggs And Make Omelet With The Eggs
  • And Make It In To Small Pieces And Add Them In The Fried Rice Before Adding Spring Onions.
  • Serve Hot Along With Chili Sauce.
