- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 to 5 apples, peeled,cored and thinly sliced.
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cinnamon
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- In an 8 iron skillet, melt butter. Add apples,sugar and cinnamon, saute until apples begin to soften. In a mixing bowl, blend together eggs, flour,milk, and salt: pour over apples directly in iron skillet.
- Bake, in iron skillet, at 375 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until puffed and pancakes tests done in the center.
- Serve with maple syrup if desired. Makes 6 servings.
